These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the normedica.co.uk website and the purchase of goods from Northumbrian Medical Supplies Ltd (trading as Normedica).
Please read these conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
All goods are intended for sale within the United Kingdom. We accept no responsibility for compliance with regulations or requirements outside of the UK.
Order Acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods subject to these Terms and Conditions.
An order is only accepted when we provide written confirmation (including email confirmation). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order without providing a reason.
Occasionally, products may become unavailable due to manufacturer supply issues. If this occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer an alternative or refund where appropriate.
We may treat items within the same order as separate contracts.
Prices
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be calculated at checkout where applicable.
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and may vary depending on weight and location. If additional delivery costs apply, we will contact you before dispatch.
While we take care to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error before dispatch, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
Prices may be changed without notice.
Some non-core or manufacturer-supplied items may be subject to price changes. You will be notified prior to processing your order if this applies.
Payment
For approved account holders, payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For all other customers, payment must be made at checkout via our secure payment provider (Worldpay), which processes credit and debit card transactions.
We reserve the right to withhold dispatch of goods until payment has been received in full.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch in-stock items within two working days of receiving your order.
If an item is out of stock, we will notify you by telephone or email with an estimated delivery time frame.
You may choose to cancel any out-of-stock item for a full refund prior to dispatch.
Delivery will be made to the address provided at checkout. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place to receive the goods.
Delivery dates are estimates only. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

Receipt of Goods
All deliveries must be checked upon receipt.
Any shortages, damages or discrepancies must be reported to us within 3 working days of delivery. We may be unable to process claims reported outside this timeframe.
Non Delivery
If you have not received your delivery within 5 working days of placing your order (and have not been informed of a delay), please contact us on 0191 286 7799 as soon as possible.
Returns and Cancellations

For consumer customers (private individuals), you may have the right to cancel certain purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations within 14 days of receiving goods, subject to exclusions.
Due to hygiene and safety regulations, certain medical or single-use items may not be eligible for return unless faulty.
Orders that have already been processed or dispatched may only be cancelled at our discretion. A restocking fee or administration charge of 20% may apply.
Northumbrian Medical Supplies Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend any order after it has been accepted without penalty.
Retention of Title (Business Customers)
All goods remain the property of Northumbrian Medical Supplies Ltd until payment has been received in full.
Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.
Until full payment is received, we reserve the right to repossess goods and may enter business premises for that purpose where legally permitted.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
