Philips HeartStart FRx SMART Pads II are replacement electrode pads designed for use with the Philips HeartStart FRx defibrillator. They help keep the AED rescue-ready and should be replaced after use, expiry or if the packaging has been opened or damaged.
The pads are supplied in a protective case and can be pre-connected to the FRx AED, helping save time during an emergency. Clear pad placement images support the responder when applying the pads to the patient.
These pads are intended for adult use as standard. For children or infants under 8 years old or under 25kg, they should be used with the separate Philips FRx Infant/Child Key, which adjusts the AED guidance and therapy settings for paediatric use.
